Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Saw lots of bad reviews so thought I’d post an opposite one. Had great service from a lady called Rasika. Purposefully chose a quiet time to do my cash bank deposit, she was helpful with an issue and happily answered questions on opening times while doing her job. PO open 9-5pm Mon-Fri and 9-1pm on Sat only. Also noted they process parcels for lots of companies like Evri, DPD, DHL, Royal Mail and Parcelforce.

Rating:1 Went there to buy a bottle of liquor. The man at the counter was on his phone, didn’t say hello and when I said hello first, he seemed unwilling to let go of his gadget. I asked for a sweet liquor, but his English seemed poor and he told me there are sweets underneath the counter. Then I accidentally stepped on a bar of chocolate that was lying on the floor. He rudely chastised me for stepping on it because people eat it and instead of disposing of it, he put it back to the other bars.

Rating:1 Came to collect a parcel with the delivery card and ID. The card had my name on it but the card they had, had the sender’s name only. However it clearly matched the tracking number on my card, and my address. Even so, they insisted I needed the sender’s ID. I explained they are in Korea and this is a gift but they said I needed their ID. I got my friend to send a picture which they then said wasn’t acceptable either but would give me my parcel, at which point you could clearly see my name on the parcel too. I showed them and there was no acknowledgement or apology. The entire time they just looked put out and irritated that I was still trying to get my parcel. Really lazy and impolite service.

Rating:1 On Saturday 1st October 2022, I went to Post office to deposit the sum of £130 into my bank account. At the time of interacting with the cashier, I was holding an 8 month old child in my arms. The cashier confirmed the amount I wish to deposit and asked me to insert my card and pin. I obtained a receipt which went straight into my pocket

I later checked my receipt / bank account / to find £110 was deposited to my account. I returned immediately upon noticing and as the Post office was closed, they asked me to return on Monday.
Monday 3rd October 2022, returned and was advised by the same cashier that the Post office had £20 extra deposited on the till.
Result / Outcome
£20 was deposited back into my account with minimal enquiries / wait time, a few minutes after returning to the Post office to address the issue
