Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 they will give you all kind of reasons to not allow you to return a product. before it was different, but the new store manager does not care about customers, just cares about revenue… the laptop that they sold got a blue screen error and would not accept it for return as they were not seeing the blue screen when returned… also my friend wanted to return a waterproof ring camera, and they refused saying it was water damaged… so sorry for Argos, but i will stop buying from them

Rating:1 This branch is served by ignorant staff who are emboldened by an untrained manager to misbehave. They do not inspect the faulty item by assembling it instead they flatly accuse you of lying. Completely incompetent team who don’t even know their own refund & exchange policy. Visit the branch at your own risk.

Rating:4 The shop was clean and presentable, but the email didn’t mention that I would need ID for the Lego set that I was picking up on account of it being 18+. This caused a minor delay as I had to go home to collect my ID. In addition, the box was in terrible condition, presumably from something heavy being placed on top of the box. This was a shame because the Lego was a gift.

Rating:1 Ordered and paid online to collect the PS4 game Tekken 7. Age restriction as can be seen on the items page on Argos is 16. The instruction on the email collection confirmation just says you need to be at least that age to collect, which in this case is 16. Went today to collect, unfortunately I didn’t have any photo ID with me, but was happy to show all my bank cards, and I even had pictures on my phone of my passport and driving licence. The lady with a Bob cut at the collection desk said you need to be 25 to collect. But as you can see that’s no were stated in either the items page on Argos nor the email collection confirmation. And I also do not look younger than 16 I can assure you. Just another example where common sense went out the window. Told them to cancel and walked out.
