Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Called 4 times for a total of almost 40 minutes on hold. During all this time i did not speak to a human. The first time i connected automatically and could hear a human. 2nd time i got a hold message saying i was on hold. then the hold message ended and i was connected to a human and could hear noises but eventually was disconnected on their end again 3rd time same thing as second time. final time there was actually hold music which lasted for over 5 mins and was then told by an automated message there was a high volume of calls, maybe at 11:50 on a Friday that is true however why was i connected 3 times and then disconnected on their end? – Id think the staff don’t care and don’t want my money. Wouldn’t try to fix my issues, ill try another carphone warehouse even if it is further away

Rating:4 There are lots of options to choose from…I bought this microwave and the price tag was 189.00 pounds and when I went for the payment the assistant told me the price had gone up by 60 pounds. I was not ready to pay higher as they still had the amount displayed . After talking to the manager I was offered the same amount as displayed.

Rating:3 Doesn’t stock ram graphic cards or any other pc parts for matter. Store should be called Curry’s with the way things are. Almost all pc products have moved online with delivery only. Was a waste of time going there but should have checked online first. After jumping online you can find most items cheaper with almost same deliver time for most items. It was an emergency so o just wanted to to pick up an 8gb ram stick. Whilst I was there had a little tour of the store. Prices have inflated out of proportion but it if you wish for the latest tech other then pcs or pc parts then I guess Curry’s would be a good spot

Rating:1 Poor service was waiting around for a member of staff to help advise me on their best pc set up no one approached me for 10-15 minutes and I found a member of staff myself as I got bored of waiting for someone to take my money off me. The staff member was unhelpful, rude and seemed to lack knowledge on the product I was inquiring about. They then went off to ask a manager something and never returned. So I left and went to the Romford branch where the staff are a lot more helpful.

The TV section didn’t have a wide selection of sizes on display. Mostly 55-65″. Was looking at larger panels but no show.
Staff is very scarce. Literally none to be seen.
The staff I did manage to interact with didn’t have a clue about the products.
The phones are all locked in completely and not even on a string for you to have a look at.
I have a better experience online, with a chat bot available for advice. at this rate retail stores are useless.
Solution:
More product knowledge training to your staff.
Have product experts available in each section of the store.
Allow more items to be played with so the consumer can have a feel of the item before purchase.
Being back some decent sales in store on seasonal holidays.
Manager discounts was always a good pull for me, but these seem to have disappeared too.
